The brain child of Tom Early, Georgie Talbot and Alan Brown, The Lantern Jazz Club is a brand new regular club featuring some of the finest musicians, singers and composers around.  The LJC forms an extremly exciting new collaboration between Tom Early and The Lantern Arts Centre in Raynes Park.  Running alongside The Ashtead Jazz Club, The LJC will continue to feature hugely diverse evenings of swing, blues, dixieland, latin, folk and so much more.

The LJC opened on Saturday 19th September 2015, with the fantastic Raul D'Oliveira as our first guest! Trumpeter for Elton John, Marvin Gaye, Wham! and so many more, Raul wowed the audience with his wide assortment of brass and percussion instruments, coupled with his incredible voice, Raul brought a night of Latin flair to The LJC.  The LJC has since hosted The Tim Boniface Band, Kirsty Merryn and The Tara Minton Quartet, with every night full of fantastic music, new arrangements and old classics!
