Back by popular demand, Italian born vocalist Irene Serra returns to the AJC stage!
A captivating performer known for her expressive voice, magnetic stage presence and high-energy live shows, Irene’s eclectic repertoire moves effortlessly from swinging jazz standards and blues to Brazilian classics and inventive pop arrangements.
Having performed at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s and The Barbican, Irene received international recognition as a finalist at the Shure Montreux Jazz Competition and at the Brussels International Young
Jazz Singer Competition.

Founded in July 2012, Ashtead Jazz Club has played host to some of the world’s finest jazz names, including Scott Hamilton, Beth Rowley, Polly Gibbons and Sara Spade. We’ve played host to Raul D’Oliveira’s mesmeric version of ‘Georgia On My Mind’, Georgie Talbot and Pete Godden’s tap dance during ‘Let’s Face The Music and Dance’, Andy Cooper’s raucous ‘It Ain’t What You Do’, and so, so many more brilliant moments.
After we opened the year with a bang with a sensational ‘Night At The Movies’, 2020 didn’t quite go as we’d planned. However, our reopening in September 2021 was so very special and we can’t wait to welcome you back again at our next gig.
